Alt-rock outfit Same Name Confusion are embarking on a trans-Tasman tour in support of their new album, SNC (out September 25 via Winegum Records).

This is a band known for their captivating, theatrical live shows.

“It’s raw, energetic and eccentric...Same Name Confusion should be leaders of surreal performances and one not to be missed.” - Radio 13

The band have appeared at Cubadupa, Cross Street, and Tora Bombora Festivals, and have supported Australians Skegss, Lime Cordiale and Spacey Jane.

The new album, SNC, is a groove-focused record with a knack for finding the playful, romantic (and occasionally absurd) beauty in everyday life.

It’s meant for dancing or at the very least tapping your toes with a grin.” - Andrej Radosavljevic

I’m usually poking fun at myself and the people around me… that’s how I am in real life too.” - Luke Courtney

Same Name Confusion is a trans-tasman collaboration, with formerly Christchurch, then Wellington co-writers Luke Courtney and Andrej Radosavljevic now split between Auckland and Melbourne. This is a rare opportunity to see the band live with a five-piece band.

Supports to be announced.
