November 16th at The Old Bar, it's going to get loud. Get ready for a big night of punk and more from four great acts with a lot to say. Only ten bucks (+ booking fees) so get your ticket now!

DISGRUNTLED CIVIL SERVANT
Loud, obnoxious and aggressively fun, Disgruntled Civil Servant are a high energy art-punk trio, as heavy as they are silly, with influences ranging from Karl to Groucho. Based between Melbourne and Warrnambool, they released their first single "Live To Punt" in January 2024 and have been busy ever since. In September they released "The Bella EP", which was followed by their debut album "It Ain't Easy Being Me" in November, featuring the single "OK Radio". With no signs of slowing down, 2025 has so far been another busy for the noisy trio, with shows supporting artists such as Regurgitator, King Parrot and Cash Savage, as well as the release of their latest EP, “The Woke Mind Virus” and it’s accompanying singles.
SPEED BUMPS
Melbourne’s newest hard-biting punk rockers. They’ve been conquering Melbourne venues since May with their loud, hard hitting, catchy tunes that blend modern punk energy with classic Aussie Rock N Roll. Check out their debut single “Speedin” now!
OIL RIG
Two-piece anti-cappo proto-punk zig-zag ka-blam. Short answer; Oil Rig. Long answer if you must, a minimalist punk duo writing grubby little bass riffs and tub-thumping tub thumping. Forming at a midweek show in barter town, Oil Rig is a trashy love letter to any band that’s got something to say; a trashy, drunken scribbling that we hope comes off earnest.
Songs about radicals, capital and sabbaticals (two truths and a lie). We tried to be straight edge but we both work hospo. Tried being Devo but we don’t get synths.
Oil Rig: the best ya gonna get!
FOURTH
Fourth is a project about Australian hubris. The first ‘rantcore’ artist of his type, Fourth combines plunderphonics with unrestrained observations on the Australian condition
